Sifu Garry and Sifu Linda organised the Roots of Wing Chun China Tours in 2006.
Since 2006 they have been researching their lineage in China.
They wanted to establish authenticity regarding Traditional Wing Chun.
From the Northern Shaolin Temple finally establishing itself in southern China.
Wing Chun in China is predominately a southern Chinese martial art.
There are 7 main wing chun families in China that stem from the Shaolin Temple.
From 2006 to 2018, the Sifu Garry and Sifu Linda have traveled to China 10 times.
They have visited many historical places around southern China.
Wing Chun schools in Guangzhou, Gulao Village, Shaping, Shunde, Foshan, and Hong Kong.
Sifu Garry and Sifu Linda have also visited wing chun schools in Singapore and Taiwan.
They have met and interacted with many Wing Chun Masters in their travels.
Guangdong Province in Southern China is the birth place of Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Since its inception around the mid 1800’s, wing chun came to Hong Kong in 1949.
Wing Chun still thrives in Southern China and Hong Kong, and of course, the rest of the World.
