Forms also develop Wing chun punching and various wing chun kicks, posture, coordination and technique.
There are four empty hand wing chun forms in the Shaolin Jee Shin Wing Chun System.
Wing Chun First Form
Little Idea Form teaches the basic concepts and principles of the wing chun system.
Principles and Concepts one develops are:
Natural tan tien breathing;
Posture and Earthing.
Chi power.
Simultaneous movement of all the limbs.
Coordination of all the major wing chun techniques.
Range and distance.
Footwork and circular footwork.
Wing chun center line and wing chun central line theory.
Wing Chun 2nd Form
Big Idea Forms follows on from Sil Lum Tao covering extra concepts in more depth.
Introducing reverse tan tien breathing, footwork with Fut Sao as a release step.
Also, larger rotations and concentration of chi power direction into target with palm striking.
Third Form in Wing Chun
Bridging Gap and seeking the bridge.
This Wing Chun Form teaches the practitioner to bridge the gap and seek the Bridge.
Once the Bridge is closed by the Practitioner he must then seek the bridge, which is finding the Opponent’s contact along the Center Line.
From the point of contact the Practitioner can continue in closer to the exchange range to subdue the Perpetrator.
Dim Mak Form
Dim Mak Pressure Point location and Attack.
This Wing Chun form covers the concept of Pursuit and Retreat.
Biu Gee also represents the configuration of the Baqua covering the 8 points of multiple attack and defense.
Biu Gee introduces the Practitioner to Elbow strikes and Knee attacks.
